I had a wonderful lunch at Jay Jay Kar. The menu offers a great variety of authentic Nepali and South Asian dishes, with options ranging from Chicken Curry and Butter Chicken to Dal Curry, Mutton Curry, Seafood Curry, and the traditional Dal Bhat set. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. The curries were rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with customizable spice levels to suit every preference. The Dal Bhat set was particularly impressive, providing a complete and satisfying meal with rice, curry, vegetables, pickles, and yogurt. The freshly baked naan paired beautifully with the curries. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. I also appreciated the selection of drinks, including chai and mango lassi, which complemented the meal perfectly. If you’re looking for authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent value for money, Jay Jaywar is definitely worth visiting. I will certainly be coming back to try more dishes from the menu!

This is my first time in Tokyo, and I visited this restaurant in Kugayama to try real Nepali food. I ordered the Nepali Thali set and the fried rice, and both dishes were amazing. The Thali had soft rice, flavorful dal, fresh vegetables, curry, pickles, yogurt, and crispy papad — a perfect traditional Nepali meal that reminded me of home. The fried rice was also delicious, full of vegetables and tender meat, with a tasty spicy sauce on the side. The food quality, portion size, and presentation were all excellent. I really enjoyed my first food experience in Tokyo here, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Nepali food.

Often it is hard to find a good authentic Indian Restaurant, I decided to grab my usual go-to dhal curry as take away to try. This could very well be the best Dhal Curry that I’ve ever had. Really impressed. The host was friendly and polite, I was given a complimentary drink while I waited. Massively underrated and absolutely a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently went to JAYJAYKAR for dinner with my friends, and we had an amazing time. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying good conversations. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We especially loved the momo, which was juicy and full of flavor. The naan was soft, warm, and freshly baked, and it tasted perfect with the rich and tasty curry. Every dish we tried was satisfying and well-prepared. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed talking with them throughout the evening. It’s also a budget-friendly restaurant, making it a great place for parties, group dinners, and spending quality time with friends. Highly recommended!
