This authentic Persian restaurant opened in Asagaya in 2007 to carry the cuisine and spirit of ancient Persia (present-day Iran) into the present. Its name comes from a legendary cup said to have belonged to a Persian king. The cup was said to reveal landscapes and people throughout the world. Echoing the legend, the chef named the restaurant 「Jame Jam」 with the wish that “people from all over the world would gather and enjoy themselves.” It is decorated with splendid furnishings, including authentic printed textiles, carpets, and copperware. Here, you can savor a variety of authentic Persian dishes prepared by an Iranian chef. Enjoy the feeling of having wandered into ancient Persia. As closing days are irregular, advance reser…

Amazing lamb koobideh kebab. Travelled for an hour to eat this and I do not regret that decision. My wife got the chicken kebab which was also very good. Definitely recommend checking this place out. If you haven’t had Persian kebabs before you need to solve that problem. The owner is also really friendly.

View on GoogleDelicious food. Outstanding service and explanation of dishes. Decent course. My wife and I were delighted. I think the best Iranian and Persian cuisine restaurant in Tokyo. Our Iranian friend recommended us this place, and he told us he is the best one, especially from a quality perspective, and we strongly agree with him.
View on GoogleI was absolutely thrilled to discover this delightful Persian flavor right here in Tokyo! The gentleman who runs the place, from Tehran, takes on the roles of owner and chef. What I found most delightful were the Iranian spices he incorporates into his dishes, truly elevating the flavors. I savored every bite of the joojeh kebab chicken with rice, bread, and French fries, accompanied by a wonderful Iranian tea.
View on GoogleDuring our short visit to Japan we decided to have a Persian meal. After checking the schedule and address online to make sure where we are going and if the restaurant is open, we left the air b and b. It took us about 2 hours to get there using the confusing train system, and when we got there the restaurant was closed!!! With a sign saying “we are closed, please come again later” or something like that… I’ll never go there or recommend anyone to go for sure! I don’t care how good the food or service could’ve been. Closing a restaurant during the time that is clearly mentioned OPEN online, is wrong and irresponsible.
