A pork cutlet shop that has probably been in this town for a long time. The exterior and interior are all showing their age. I ordered the fillet cutlet set meal. The thick cutlet has two layers and is voluminous. This restaurant's homemade sauce, crispy fried batter, and perfectly salted fillet are extremely delicious. This is a store that I want to continue for a long time.

For a while now, even at lunchtime there's been no sign out and the menu display has stayed closed, while the exterior has gradually begun to look more worn. Staffed cigarette sales are continuing, but it seems the tonkatsu restaurant has closed.

Having the 上とんかつ, the tastiest tonkatsu set meal I've had here so far! This was what I ate on my first visit, and it made me want to come back a few more times. Pork shoulder loin, perhaps? It has just the right bite and juiciness. The pieces are big and thick, too, making it very satisfying. What's interesting is that they provide commercial sauce as well as their own. The homemade sauce tastes a little mild, but it's delicious. The lady always recommends the regular katsu set, which reflects her pride in the cheapest being the best. But as someone who can only come occasionally, I find myself wanting this 上とんかつ.

A Showa-era-style tonkatsu restaurant. The menu seems considerably smaller than before. It's the sort of place people with a taste for curiosities should visit.

A restaurant with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. It's a little fatty, but the meat is thick and delicious. The restaurant's original sauce is good, too.
