S [must try / must try] · quality-based izakaya that is pricey but worth the $$$ · otoshi is 360 Yen as of March 2025 (its delicious chicken wing + fried oden with grated radish) · pricey chicken skewers thats 300-400 Yen each (prepare to spend $$$) · their green onion sauce is deliciously amazing!! · rich tasting chicken soup · i got confused about their menu explanation (its 1 skewer for that price not 2 skewers) · the rule is that two or more people must order at least 2+ skewers from the menu · no suica payment sadly tldr: experience quality izakaya here if you are willing to spend big $$
View on GoogleThis is where the locals eat. Great yakitori, good selection of drinks. Nothing overly fancy; reliably tasty.
View on GoogleGreat Yakitori with great services too!
View on GoogleA place that looks exceptionally clean, both outside and inside. I had been curious about it for a while and pictured it as a place with many mothers bringing children on weekends. The prices on the sign were very reasonable, so I went to see what it was like… Yakitori and a small selection of yakiton. Plenty of side dishes. The yakitori consists of classics and vegetables. Few unusual choices, making it very easy to choose, and the menu is simple. Many items were around 350〜450円 for 2 skewers, which felt very affordable. Draft beer in a fairly large glass was under 500円. After we ordered various things, they asked whether they could choose salt or sauce according to their recommendations. That made sense. I generally prefer salt, but when dining as a pair or when either is fine, I thought this was a good way to ask because it also tells you what the restaurant recommends. It probably reduces cases where one person wants salt and the other sauce, so it seemed beneficial for both sides. The liver came with sauce. Fluffy, completely free of any unpleasant smell, on the rare side, and very delicious. At the start, the sasami (shiso leaf) came with miso and basil sauce, and this basil sauce was delicious. The menu is truly classic, but I was happy to be able to vary things with this sauce. There were 5〜6 daily side dishes, from which I chose 「やみつきにんじん漬け」and「さつまいもフライ」. These 2 dishes were simple but delicious. A place I would like to drop into casually again.
View on GoogleVisit: weekday Access: 3-4 minutes on foot from Hachimanyama Station on the Keio Line Opens at 17:00, with 1 group arriving right away. Advance reservations are recommended. The skewer condiments are homemade spicy miso and basil sauce! Both are delicious!! I ordered tomato bacon because I wanted to put basil sauce on it. Skewers come both rare and thoroughly cooked. Chicken liver with sesame and green onion is a good drinking snack. No unpleasant smell at all. My favorite skewers were cartilage and negima. Recommended when you want to casually enjoy drinking snacks and skewers. Individual dishes are generous for the price. A place to visit hungry.
