I was a bit hesitant to go since I read all the reviews about difficulty ordering, but when I went, the lady was very sweet and nice. I think her reputation comes from when it gets really busy and she's super focused on controlling the chaos. Basically, I'll just come here when it's not busy hahahaha. The food came incredibly fast btw, maybe 5 mins or less. It was yummy.
View on GoogleLiked how authentic the food taste! For a local Chinese restaurant, this is definitely a go to place to get one!
View on GoogleNeighborhood Chinese". Love their Inchon Ramen.. have it once a week or so in winter. It's unusual, spicy and hearty, with somewhat Korean flavor. Origin unknown (owner's creation as far as I know). Nice write up on Nishiogiology.
View on GoogleThe 台湾丼 tastes amazing!! But the service is ☆1. I visited for lunch. A little after 12 on Saturday, it was nearly full. I sat at the counter. According to reviews, the staff don't come over to take your order. I said, “台湾丼, please,” but neither the owner nor his wife gave a clear response, which made me anxious. Stir-frying, washing dishes, handling payments—they seemed run off their feet. Both staff members were moving around so busily that just watching made me feel unsettled. Their conversation sounded like an argument too. (Apparently some customers actually enjoy that scene as a specialty of the place.) Their language toward customers isn't particularly polite either. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants courteous service and a calm atmosphere for their meal. The 台湾丼 tastes amazing! It's exceptionally delicious, so I do recommend that!! Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleAbout a 5-minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station. It looks like a textbook neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I visited around 20:00, and it was about 8 tenths full. A married couple were in the kitchen, and perhaps their daughter was serving? The service has a pleasantly matter-of-fact attitude that feels comfortable. So many appealing menu items that it's hard to choose. I started by ordering サッポロ黒ラベル. I ordered チャーハン, レバニラ炒め, and 餃子. The チャーハン comes with soup. First the 餃子 came from the kitchen across the counter. They're larger than regular gyoza. The crispness of the skin that you feel when picking them up with chopsticks, versus the softness of the other side! Dip into the vinegar and pepper prepared on a small plate, then pop one in! (◎_◎;) Delicious! The filling has lots of vegetables and goes perfectly with the wrapper. Wow, delicious! I think they're the best I've ever eaten. Next came the チャーハン; the ingredients are restrained, but the corn plays a nice role. The チャーハン is high-quality too. The final レバニラ was seasoned just right. What a great neighborhood Chinese restaurant I've discovered. I absolutely loved it. Thank you for the meal. ※Cash or PayPay
