① Restaurant Features A modern izakaya located in the Pearl shopping district, with a kitchen inside a U-shaped counter where you can enjoy conversation with the staff. A cozy restaurant. ②Review of dishes ◎Marinated chicken liver and heart Chicken liver and heart are cooked at low temperature to make them tender. The flavor of the liver in particular is superb. The flavor of the liver, in particular, is superb, and it becomes even richer by adding sesame oil and salt. ◎Aji Fried Aji The fries are crispy and delicious. ◎Aji fries The tartar sauce used for the fries is also delicious with a secret flavor of iburigakko (pickled ginger).
View on GoogleNice little Nihonshu spot with exquisite food. I loved the porcini daikon, hand-drawn shumai, and ahi fried with the smoked tartar sauce. We’ll be coming back for sure!
View on GoogleSmall izakaya in the Asagaya shoutengai with some incredible and unique dishes. Daikon with porcini mushrooms, shoyu butter scallops, and the amazing shumai dumplings that were almost the size of hamburg steaks. Definitely get the daikon and the shumai.

View on GoogleI visited Gift食堂 阿佐ヶ谷 in the Pearl Center shopping street in Asagaya Minami for dinner. The calm, wood-toned space has counter and table seating, and the staff's friendly service creates a comfortable atmosphere where lively conversation flows naturally. The food is highly creative, with dishes that are enjoyable both to look at and to taste, such as hand-kneaded shumai and daikon in porcini mushroom cream. There are always more than 20 carefully selected varieties of sake from across Japan, and it's nice to compare different ones while considering how they pair with the food. There are drinks suitable for beginners too, and it's especially recommended for people who enjoy alcohol. It's fun spending time chatting across the counter and hearing the staff's pairing recommendations, and it's an easy choice for drinking alone or having dinner with friends. Open until late at night, it was the perfect izakaya for an evening of stylish drinking in Asagaya.
