very very cute and cozy! 💝
View on GoogleA shop I found when I wanted to kill some time in 高円寺. It stands on its own in a residential neighborhood and is run by a married couple? Rather than a "sophisticated gallery café," it's a distinctive space resembling an old-fashioned neighborhood coffee shop, with large oil paintings packed everywhere. Customers who seem to be regulars occasionally come in and chat on the sofa seats; it's a warm, welcoming shop. The lady serves the food while the man does some kind of handiwork outside. This easygoing freedom is one of the reasons it feels comfortable. It's small, and there was a notice suggesting "about 90 minutes" for seat use. There aren't many seats, but the one just inside the entrance felt like a private space, so I could really enjoy some time alone and relax. On a nice day, I recommend the terrace seats too. Since I had lunch planned, I ordered only 「ブレンド」. The coffee, poured to the brim, was lightly roasted. I felt the autumn season while gazing at the yellow cosmos flowers decorating the table. They also had juice, alcoholic drinks, toast, hot dogs, banana muffins, vegan-friendly spice curry, and とりまぜそば. Apparently とりまぜそば uses koji-based seasonings. It consists of low-temperature-cooked chicken and whole-wheat noodles. How unusual. I'll try it next time. Thank you for the meal!
