Pork, breadcrumbs, oil. We carefully select every ingredient in pursuit of delicious tonkatsu. To appreciate the flavor of the meat, the sweetness of the fat, and the aroma of the breadcrumbs, please first try it as it is, without sauce.

Great hospitality from the staff and the chef! I tried the seasonal special set featuring shrimp, oyster, and pork loin. The seafood was fresh and the tonkatsu was perfectly cooked—very authentic flavors. Highly recommended!

This is hands-down the most delicious tonkatsu I have ever eaten in my entire life. Everything is prepared from scratch and to order. The pork cutlet is so tender that it melts in your mouth. There is simply no excuse to pass on this place.

This place takes tonkatsu, a fairly pedestrian dish, to glorious new heights. Using carefully selected pork, their perfect fry results in a dream-like mix of soft, juicy, porky goodness on the inside and light and crunchy outside. You don't know tonkatsu without trying this place.

It was dinnertime, but there were no other customers, so I entered with some hesitation. I ordered the extra-thick 林SPF loin, 250g, à la carte for 2680円. I also ordered a draft beer and drank it while waiting for the frying. They began frying it carefully after the order, and being 林SPF, it naturally raised my expectations. The “林大厚ロース” that arrived wasn't thick enough to merit “extra-thick,” and looked thinner even compared with earlier visitors' photos. I've had 林SPF several times and thought of it as pork whose sweet fat really stands out, so this loin left a completely different impression. Perhaps it just happened to be that particular piece of meat that day, but not enough to make me want to check again. At least based on that day's impression, I won't return.
