Plain decor with the patina of having been here a long time. About 15 seats among three tables and a counter. Simple menu with three choices posted on the wall. "The Tennessee Waltz" by Jo Stafford was recognizable music. No Wi-Fi. Nice coffee and I like the relaxed atmosphere for a strong four stars.

I ordered Pork Stamina Yaki for 1,000円. The garlicky meat was piping hot and went wonderfully with the fried egg and bean sprouts. It was delicious. Rice, miso soup, and coffee or tea were included too, so I was satisfied!

Pork Stamina Yaki, 850円. It's served on a sizzling iron plate, so you can eat it without it going cold. The black pepper and garlic pack a punch and make you want more rice. Mixing in the fried egg yolk mellows the flavor, offering a change of taste. The place has a coffee-shop feel and is comfortable too.

Visited for lunch. Ordered the signature Pork Stamina Teishoku. Garlic-flavored. Actually, a dish with a proper, strong garlic aroma. Pork and bean sprouts, salt, pepper, and garlic— simple seasoning, but delicious. You eat it mixed with a runny fried egg. It gave me an energy boost. It was delicious.

Visited around 13:00 on a weekday. I was the only customer, so I could relax. Inside are 8 counter seats, 2 tables for 4, and one window table for 2. That window seating is nice. The kindly-looking owner and calm classic jazz enhance this cafe's lingering Showa-era atmosphere. Does the menu change daily? When I visited, only the choices in the photo were written on the board. I ordered the stamina yaki, which seemed to be their pride and joy. It has a home-cooked taste. I'd be even happier if the pork yaki came with a salad too. Still, a post-meal drink included at this price is appreciated. A place I'd recommend as part of everyday life.
