11/2024 Group of five on weekend evening with reservation. Great food at a great price… wonderful. Loved it
View on GoogleI usually went there for dinner, but this time I visited for lunch for the first time. The sweet-and-sour sauce is very delicious, and whenever I return to my hometown I want to have it at least once. I wonder if different people do the cooking at night and during the day. I'd like to visit again.

In these times when the yen keeps weakening, you can eat at quite affordable prices, the interior is spacious, and although the décor and facilities are old, they're cleaned fairly carefully, so I'd like to rate it positively. The drawback is that the food isn't tasty at all. It isn't awful, so it might be fine if you don't expect much from the flavor and just enjoy the place and drinks. I didn't drink, but the alcohol is super cheap too. Visited in August 2026
View on Google2025.6 First visit. Cashless payments are not supported. Among establishments with this style of signboard, I think Chinese-style rice, tenshin han, and gomoku rice with toppings at 780円 including tax are inexpensive. The food tasted good too. The staff are Chinese, but they're personable, so you can feel at ease. It's a short walk from the station, but it's a place worth returning to. Even on a weekday, there were several large groups having drinking parties.
View on GoogleThe spacious interior has a casual roughness and solidity that feels just like a dining hall in China. Drinks are cheap, food portions are generous, and our family ate plenty without reaching 10000円. Dining spots in Ogikubo generally have small portions and higher prices, so 龍記 is a valuable place. In particular, the stir-fried eggplant with black pepper features fried eggplant unlike anything found elsewhere—an authentic flavor, perhaps? It's delicious, and we always order it. There are Japanese Chinese dishes such as shrimp in chili sauce, shrimp with mayonnaise, and sweet-and-sour pork, as well as authentic dishes we've eaten locally, such as fried river shrimp, stir-fried tomatoes and eggs, and stewed chili peppers and beef. We regularly use it as a Chinese restaurant where we can enjoy food casually and affordably.
