I ordered the fried rice and gyoza set and a medium bottle of beer. 1100円 and 550円—welcome prices these days. They arrived in the order bottled beer and edamame → gyoza → fried rice, which left a very good impression. Even though it was a fried rice and gyoza set, the thoughtfulness of that serving order was lovely. The gyoza were slightly small with thin wrappers. The filling seemed somewhat meat-heavy, with fairly assertive seasoning. They seemed like they'd go well with rice. The fried rice seemed nearly fluffy and separate on the surface, but slightly moist inside. I might actually like this balance. The seasoning wasn't overdone, and its gentle savoriness was pleasant. There wasn't much distinctive to write about, but the overall balance was good and it wasn't bad. The serving time seems a little problematic, but since it's a Showa-style place, it might be nice to enjoy the food as time passes leisurely.

At 14 on a weekday afternoon, the only other customer had left, and the restaurant was serene. I ordered the chuka soba + half fried rice set. Being served by the elderly lady actually made me feel I should be considerate of her. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The classic ramen and fried rice were delicious. The restaurant is old but kept clean, which feels nice. It could be an afternoon option.

This is the large fried rice (800円). An old-fashioned Chinese restaurant and cafe. The fried rice was moist, with the usual chashu, egg, kamaboko, and green onion, delicious with just the right saltiness. Perhaps she was the owner's mother? Despite her advanced age, she worked hard serving customers. After eating, I helped clear up, then paid. Please keep going for many years to come. It was delicious.

Despite the old-fashioned exterior, the interior is bright, clean, and relaxing. The space has 7 tables and about 24 seats, run by an elderly proprietress and the man in the kitchen (perhaps her son?). The ramen is simple and old-fashioned, but the broth is delicious. It also goes well with the thin, high-hydration noodles. In summer they offer an extensive shaved-ice selection, giving the place a dessert-cafe side too. There are 6 types and 18 varieties! It seems to take time between ordering and serving; if two groups are ahead of you, you might wait about 15 minutes.

A retro cafe with character. But the interior is kept very clean, so you can spend a pleasant time here. I ordered a ramen and mini fried rice set for a somewhat late dinner. It was around 17 and the place was quiet, so serving took about 15 minutes, perhaps? The ramen is old-fashioned chuka soba. Neither too salty nor too bland, perfectly balanced—exactly what I've been looking for. The fried rice is simple too, but the chashu and naruto? give it fun textures. It's on the moist side. Well seasoned and not greasy, so I kept taking bite after bite. Both were delicious!! I'd felt a little hesitant about going in alone, but I should have come sooner. Apparently they also have lots of shaved-ice varieties in summer. I hope this place keeps going for many years. I'll be back!
