Fabulously old fashioned real soul food run by lovely people serving the local community for 50 years. We've had everything from the recommended menu, and it's all great.

A place recommended for its gyoza, which a company president in my mahjong group discovered when he used to live nearby. I remember him bringing me some as a gift once. But parking around this place is pretty difficult, so years passed before I finally visited today... Now, what to order... The restaurant itself seems to promote its noodles, though... Tanmen: Oh, this is a lightly flavored, salt-based soup. Slurping the very thin noodles from the edge of the bowl brings more soup into your mouth, making it even tastier. If their gomoku chūka is the okame type, that would probably be delicate and delicious too. Gyoza: Thin-skinned gyoza that practically call for a beer. But the wrapper has quite a bit of texture. The filling is mostly coarsely chopped vegetables. Just when I thought they weren't anything particularly unusual, dipping them only in vinegar to check the original flavor revealed what seemed like a mysterious extra taste...? What could it be...? So this is what the president was talking about! Somehow, the tanmen reminds me of 一光@高井戸, where my exploration of gomoku chūka began, and the gyoza of 三番@新中野... Well, neighborhood Chinese places can end up similar even without sharing the same lineage.

Ever since the older female part-timer miscalculated and overcharged me, I've repeatedly calculated the bill myself before paying. Later, when the amount charged was too low and I pointed out the mistake, she insisted it was correct without recalculating... If the staff don't collect the right amount, it causes trouble for the owner, and that's awful. Since then she's become noticeably unfriendly, and I feel uncomfortable every time I visit. I love this place, but thinking about her being there makes me stay away. Sorry, sir. I won't be coming for a while. I deducted ⭐︎-1 【2025/4/30】 Good news, everyone. 三久 has started serving hiyashi chūka. I recommend having it with gyoza! 【2024/11/30】 They're currently closed on Mondays and Fridays. Opening hours are 11:30-14:00、17:30-21:00. The closing time is the last-order time, and if there aren't many customers, they may take down the noren and close earlier. 【First visit】 I dropped in on a whim, and the owner was working hard cooking alone during the lunch rush. I greedily ordered both shrimp fried rice and ramen, but the fried rice was superb!! When I ordered alcohol, it came with a small serving of oden. A lovely lady serves the food. I'd like to visit again. Cigarette smoke during a meal interferes with enjoying the flavors, so −⭐︎1 for allowing smoking.

「An appealing moist texture! Fried rice at 『三久』」 The fried rice I had at 『三久』 stood out for its moist texture. The rice was thoroughly infused with flavor and gently stir-fried, releasing a fragrant soy sauce aroma. With every bite, the gentle flavor warmed my heart. The ingredients are simple—chashu, egg, and green onion—but they blend together in balance, enhancing the overall taste. The chashu in particular is tender and moist, with its savory flavor gradually spreading with each bite. Overall, it was a nostalgic, gently flavored, old-fashioned fried rice that satisfied both my stomach and my heart. The interior is calm, and the restaurant has a warmth that makes it clear why local regulars love it. I'd definitely recommend 『三久』's fried rice to anyone who prefers a moist texture over separate, fluffy grains. It was a plate full of charm that left me feeling comforted after eating!

A place with 50 years of history, loved by locals, and simply delicious. At my most frequent, I eat here 2 times a week. I've never had fried rice better than theirs. The other dishes are all delicious too, and leave you full. The place has stayed the same for 50 years, with old-fashioned seasoning you wouldn't tire of even eating it every day. The owner and his wife aren't young anymore, but they're still working hard and full of energy.
