A champon shop visited by many famous people. Menus were posted all over the place and I had trouble choosing, but I ordered the ‘champon+ginger pork rice bowl set’ (1100円). The champon… was delicious! The noodles were the thick kind commonly used for champon. It had a tonkotsu flavor and was quite strongly seasoned. But I love that! The ginger pork rice bowl was also fantastic for someone like me who likes strong flavors! Though perhaps a little greasy… The champon and rice bowl together were quite filling, so I was satisfied! It was also quietly pleasing that the drinking water was barley tea! There was a sign along the lines of ‘Do not make excessive profits; sell at fair prices,’ and women can silently make a V sign to get a large portion. There is a sense of humor here (haha). I am glad I came! Thank you for the meal!

One day in month 2 of Reiwa 7, I had an irresistible craving for champon on my day off and visited. I entered around 11:36, almost at opening time. There were no other customers; it is a small space with only about 7 counter seats. The wind is strong and it is cold today, but whenever I come to a ramen shop, I reflexively order beer. Here goes, aaah~that hits the spot. I ordered champon without hesitation. The appetizer, something mushroom-based cooked down, was just right with the beer while I waited. D-delicious. Since it is a one-person operation, I was prepared for it to take a little time. Neighbors and people working nearby gradually came in one after another. It was quite lively. After about 10 minutes, the champon arrived. It is pretty big, and looks incredibly delicious. Let's eat. Yes, sooo good. A little strongly seasoned, but very delicious. There are plenty of vegetables too, and as a light eater, this is my limit. But if this is so good, the fried rice must be delicious too. I asked for fried rice to take out. Since it was almost full, I told the owner he could make my fried rice last, and left around 12:30 with piping-hot fried rice to take home. Time for dinner. I added egg and bonito flakes as toppings and dug in. Mmm~delicious. It is substantial, delicious neighborhood Chinese restaurant fried rice. I am glad I ordered it, completely satisfied. I am glad I ordered it. Thank you for the meal.

【2024.1】I had champon (850円). It has a cloudy white tonkotsu broth with pronounced aromas of sesame oil and pepper. Perhaps it is the kind that builds its flavor through the seasoning sauce. There are 10 ingredients: cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, napa cabbage, onion, wood ear mushrooms, pork, kamaboko, fu, and asari clams in their shells. The noodles are thick with the soft texture typical of champon. A champon with a wild, rustic flavor.

I visited around 13 on a weekday and was the only customer. Inside, it feels like a small neighborhood Chinese restaurant with around 7〜8 seats. There are special-price menus for weekday lunch only, varying by day. The owner is friendly and gave me a coupon while I was looking at the menu outside. Since it was my first visit, I ordered the shop's namesake champon for 850円. It was piping hot with plenty of ingredients and thick straight noodles. The broth was a little strong, but the seasoning kept me coming back for more. It is substantial too, so I think even men would be satisfied. It is a place I would like to revisit when the mood strikes.

The two of us ordered squid ink sara udon, champon, and gyoza. The richness of the squid ink and the stock in the sara udon were perfectly balanced, making my mouth feel like a storehouse. It is packed with a wealth of aromas. The champon had the flavor and noodle firmness I expected. The gyoza are juicy and delicious.
