The unchanging atmosphere is irresistibly endearing to coffee shop lovers... It seems I can't smoke anymore... which makes me a little sad.

Very quaint cafe operated by a lovely elderly couple. Very old school.

Around 25 seats in an American bluegrass atmosphere. I gave it the fifth atmosphere star for the banjo in the back. That and the family business bonus. BGM started with "John Henry" by the Johnson Mountain Boys. No Wi-Fi, but I was able to pick up a neighboring signal. I think it's a nice location, though not a lot of foot traffic this time of day. Minor problem if you're using the 66 bus, which doesn't run that often. Coffee on the high side of average. Call it a high four stars overall.

I'd thought smoking was allowed before, but there was a sign saying 'no smoking' for the time being. It must have been around a long time in Koenji, where coffee shop culture is strong. An older couple? run it at a leisurely pace. The sunlight coming through the windows makes it feel comfortable. I had plans, so I only stayed about 40 minutes, but there was plenty of space between seats, and it felt like somewhere you could linger. Customers from young people to older patrons were chatting together. The kitchen is quite open, so the smell of Napolitan spaghetti is comforting. The iced coffee was ordinary, but the coaster underneath was cute. Thanks for the meal!
