I had the upper-grade unaju. It uses one whole eel, so it was satisfying. I think ordering clear soup as well would make it just right. The restaurant was quiet, so I could really savor it. Especially recommended for anyone who wants to eat slowly in a quiet space.※I remembered to take a photo halfway through eating, so that's when I took it. Haha
View on GoogleVisited for lunch on a weekday. The interior is very quiet and calm, so you can spend a peaceful time here. We kept conversation low and enjoyed our meal. The unaju had plump, tender flesh and was delicious. Payment was cash only.
View on GoogleThis place is sold out whenever I check, so reservations are essential, but miraculously I got in one evening without one. I had the upper-grade unaju and liver soup. The flesh was incredibly fluffy, and the sauce was just the right intensity. Delicious right down to the very last bite. Completely satisfied!
View on GoogleI enjoyed delicious unagi at an affordable price. Inside, the handprints of 千代の富士, 双羽黒, 北勝海, and 大乃国 from the final 4-yokozuna era of Showa are displayed together, a highlight for sumo fans.
View on GoogleThere's a small pond inside with koi swimming in it. The gentle trickle of flowing water creates a relaxing space. I ordered unaju (highest premium grade) and liver soup. The eel is incredibly fatty, but the accompanying pickles are refreshing, so you can comfortably enjoy it to the end. The liver soup costs extra, but you absolutely should order it! I was glad it came out piping hot.
