As the shop name suggests, the taste of hometown, mother's cooking is really delicious! I go for lunch and dinner, but especially lunch, fish comes with 3 small bowls for 1000 yen! Small bowls change every day and all are delicious, rice is also fluffy, miso soup is also good taste, full of nutrition, overwhelming for set meals around Ogikubo. After eating, coffee is included. Night seems to be open every day, lunch is Monday Wednesday Friday, time 11:30 - if it ends early before 13:00 and the signboard is a little hard to see. I write "Grilled Fish Set" and "Ginger Set" simply, but there are always 3-4 types of fish on the blackboard menu in the shop! Depending on the day, there are grilled, saikyo-zuke, and boiled, so you won't get bored. There is no phone number so if it is lunch, I recommend going at 11:30 opening because the fish is still there! At night, you can enjoy curry with deep taste and creative ribs, etc., rice different from the daytime. When I noticed, I go 3 times a week for lunch + sometimes until night lol, mother's smile is always wonderful and if I eat alone she talks to me, and because I can't drink coffee she changes it to oolong tea with consideration, sometimes she gives me oranges or cookies, my heart is also filled. Because it is one step outside the shopping street and the main street, it is a hidden gem shop that only those who know know. If you are curious, please go.
