I always see a lot people waiting outside and I’m curious with the food if it’s delicious ? YES IT IS Delicious! I asked for the staff for recommendations he suggested Abura ramen I love it! And I also ordered a gyoza and it don’t let me down , it’s tasty! Thank you for the food I only spent 1,500yen and I’m full! I’m also a foreigner who loves to try different food in Japan. If I don’t like the food or services I don’t make any reviews. ❤️🙏

This is one of my new favorite abura soba (油そば) places in Tokyo. The oil and sauce it comes in has a unique taste that sets it apart from other shops. It might be that it has a little more of a spice to it, which I like. The noodles were firm but chewy. And the gyoza were done in a skillet and a had a nice crunch. You can get a set with noodles and fried rice if you’re extra hungry. Prices are reasonable. Staff were friendly and service fast.

Went there on August end of 2024, on a rainy day waiting on line. Writing this review now because I remember this was the best gyoza and pork ramen that I had ever and I am saying this just remembering the flavour. I couldn't eat both portions and got them packed, they even gave free extras on top of it. Someday I will be at this place again.

The Gyoza and Chahan are some of the best in tokyo, with just a very clean and classic Japanese flavor. They don’t try and do anything crazy, and it works out in their favor. The service is quick and effiencent, and the staff are always pretty friendly. You can tell that this place has had decades of love and that the staff have had years of serving. The interior is filled with smoke, grease and you can tell thousands have enjoyed meals in there. While it could use some cleaning - it adds to the atmosphere. Always delicious at 1AM.

Sorry to be the negative one here. But I don’t really understand how this place has such high reviews. I ordered the chashu abura soba, and it was very flavorless. Even adding a lot of spice and vinegar didn’t help. The flavor just tasted off, kind of musty and old. The chashu, which looked good, tasted sad and rubbery. I thought the small gyoza was cute, but again not very flavorful. The chahan and soup was fine. Overall, I was a bit let down, and would probably not visit again. I’m glad many others seem to enjoy this place; it seems to be beloved by locals and university students.
