Really rich and thick pork broth ramen. A little too thick for my taste so I'll make sure to specify "less fat" with the next order, just tell the staff when you hand them the ticket. You get free white rice (self-service) so a food place to go for when you're really hungry.
View on GoogleMy first ramen in Japan! So much better than what we have in chain restaurants in the UK. I ordered the standard large bowl, it was large. Did not know it was tonkotsu style, that was a pleasant suprise. Very thick, salty - like sunday roast dinner gravy..... felt like a family traditional recipe. Only reading other reviews, now i understand the ordering for the rice bowl.... i will have to return. Oishii!
View on GoogleJapanese IEKEI ramen. The taste is very strong. Eating ramen and rice together will help you balance the taste, so it's a good idea to order it.
View on GoogleNothing special about the ramen. But! You can get 4 slice of chasiu for only a 1,000¥ bowl of ramen which is a very good deal. On top of that, you can pay extra 50¥ to get an all you can eat rice to eat with your leftover borth. A great closing remarks to a worthy meal
View on GoogleAs a fan of ramen iekei I went to this restaurant to try a new one. What a disappointment. One of the worst I have eaten. Soup is too salty, ramen is overcooked (despite asking 硬め), chashu has no flavor and is full of fat. The environment seemed overcrowded and unsanitary to me, especially the self-service rice area. Finally, I am used to the noisy manner of the staff at iekei restaurants, which is sometimes amusing, but perhaps here they were exaggerating a bit with the constant shouting.
