Japanese restaurant serving sushi & other light bites in a casual, contemporary setting.

<A 7-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Shinjuku Station> We are '野郎寿司,' an authentic sushi restaurant long loved in the heart of Kabukicho. Our seafood, purchased from the fish market every morning, is exceptionally fresh! We use bluefin tuna. Enjoy its flavor not only as nigiri but also in various dishes such as tekkadon and chutorodon. At lunchtime, we offer nigiri sets, tekkadon, chirashi, and more at reasonable prices! In the evening, our stylish 野郎寿司 set is a huge favorite! We also offer sushi courses packed with the charm of a longstanding sushi restaurant. All 7 tables feature semi-private seating◎ Suitable for many occasions, including dates and drinks after work. Forget the bustle of the city and enjoy a pleasant time with your companions♪…

I recently visited this restaurant and found the experience to be somewhat disappointing. The sushi rice was a bit too sweet for my taste, and unfortunately, the silver cod was overcooked, with burnt skin. The sashimi was fine, but overall, I felt that the prices were quite high, especially considering the quality. Unless you're in the area and really need to eat here, I can't recommend it. There are better options out there.

Went here at around 2 am to a lively and inviting establishment in the heart of Kabukicho! Three seasoned sushi chefs waited behind the counter and this was my first sushi in Japan and it did not disappoint! Crowd was all locals, salarymen and me. Sushi was excellent beer was cold and so cool to find somewhere in the middle of all the craziness in Kabukicho. If you are up late *ahem* "enjoying" yourself around Kabukicho this is a great pre or post fun meal.

Seasoned chefs eagerly awaited our orders and then expertly delivered delightful dishes. The highlight was the delicate, beautifully grilled cod - melt-in-mouth. The grilled prawn and sashimi were stunning also.

Really one of the best sushi that I tried in a japanese typical place where you can looking directly the cook that cook for you. Rich menu of choice with no expensive cost. I don't had the reservation but i don't awaiting many time for sit and eating. The local it's in the heart of Shinjuku and it's easy to found it.

Extremely well priced for a very good quantity of excellent fresh sushi and sashimi. Got a private table and spent around $24USD per person and were more than filled by the end of our visit. No wait or reservation was needed.
