For various reasons I'd been avoiding curries, but when I tried 焼きチーズカレー, it was insanely good. This was originally a curry shop rather than a set-meal restaurant, so the curries seem to be of a higher standard. There's a wide variety too, so I'd like to compare options besides 焼きチーズ. ※You can choose from 5 spice levels for free. ***** I visited at lunchtime. With a wide menu, good flavors, and good value, it's understandable that it stayed almost full of office workers. At lunchtime, large servings of rice are free, and PayPay is accepted for electronic payment. My personal set-meal recommendations, in order ①スタミナ焼 set meal ②生姜焼き set meal ※With or without eggplant, according to preference ③Stir-fried pork, green peppers, and bamboo shoots set meal ④Stir-fried vegetables set meal ※Slightly spicy soy-sauce flavor, lots of garlic-chive shoots that were undercooked

2023.11.11(Saturday)Weather: cloudy Opens 11:30 I arrived at AM11:28. Nobody was waiting in line. They let me in a little early. By 11:45, a fair number of people had come in, with around 5 people at the counter. I ordered the tomato and spinach cheese curry for 870円. It falls into the thin, soupy curry category. The flavor was Asian, and rather than having strongly pronounced spices, it reminded me of Thai curry. It's certainly tasty. Other customers were ordering set meals too, so I'd like to try one next time. Payment is cash only.

Authentic curry with a multinational feel, unlike anything I've eaten before. They don't skimp: the mushroom curry has loads of mushrooms, and there's plenty of rice too. It comes with a salad as well. The tomato curry has 3 whole tomatoes☆ And yet it's only 860円 or so—an unbelievable bargain〰️ The female staff member speaks Japanese well too and is all smiles. They also have yakiniku and spaghetti set meals. Apparently the cheese baked curry is popular. Seems there's one in Iidabashi too, so I'll give it a try. There was loads of coriander on top too.

Happened to be nearby, and since it was lunchtime, I found this place while looking for lunch. Only a U-shaped counter, seating 10. It's a small place, but really popular; even without a queue, as soon as a seat opens up, someone comes in and fills it. Among the various menu items, I spotted my absolute favorite, nasu miso🍆, and ordered it straight away. The menu describes it as a dish recommended by the manager's wife, which is a slightly odd way to put it, but the sweet-and-spicy miso goes perfectly with both the pork and the eggplant, sooo good, yum yum🤗 Pork and eggplant🍆 stir-fried with sweet miso set meal, 860円.
