I truly enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The reservation process was simple and hassle-free, which made the experience even more pleasant. The atmosphere feels very comfortable and authentically Japanese, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Most importantly, the service was exceptional — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Found this gem tucked behind a quiet street near Shinjuku Gyoen. Modern, minimalist setup with soft jazz, it's exactly the kind of low-key izakaya you hope to stumble upon. The tempura here is legit. Light, crispy batter, quality ingredients. Hokkaido shrimp and scallop were incredible, sweet and perfectly fried. The seasonal fish was just as good. Get the chicken nanban if it's available, fried chicken with tartar sauce that's dangerously good. The tamago rolls are excellent with a huge selection. Cocktails are surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly, English menus available. Soft jazz keeps things chill. Honestly just a great neighborhood spot that nails the basics. If you're in Shinjuku and want quality tempura without the fuss, this is it.

This place is amazing. The tempuras, aka fried dishes, are superb. Shrimp, Briewith bacon, shiitake, squid, fish, chicken all amazing. Their rice dishes were also good. Service was attentive and waiter speaks decent e flush for Japan. Highly recommended.
