The yakitori place I'd been curious about for ages turned out to be incredibly delicious 🔥 They have a wide selection of sake and other alcoholic drinks, and the Showa-retro interior was fun too 🍺 Takeaway customers kept coming nonstop; it's clearly loved by the locals. A yakitori place where you can dine in as well as get takeaway The prices were reasonable, and the chicken was tender and delicious Apparently I bought during their special discount hours, so I was able to get yakitori cheaply

I visited for lunch on a weekday. There were no other customers when I entered, but one person came in a little later. The kitchen is across the counter, and beyond that it faces the street, where they grill yakitori and sell prepared dishes, so the layout is a little unusual. I ordered a yakitori rice bowl with less rice. Just the right amount of fat had rendered out of the chicken, making it light to eat. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered oolong tea, chicken skin with ponzu, and yakitori of chicken neck, chicken skin, chicken and leek, and chicken wings. The otoshi appetizer contained liver, which didn't work for me because I dislike the taste of liver. I couldn't bring myself to ask them to change it, so it felt wasteful. The yakitori wasn't bad overall, but considering the price and taste, I felt it offered poorer value than 「元祖やきとり串八珍」, also near 江戸川橋 Station. For details, try searching for 「やきとり 皆の家」+「気ままに外食三昧」.
