Excellent service by a billingual (Japanese English) speaking server who was cheerful and very helpful with explanations. They have a full well translated English menu. Many senior locals were enjoying their lunch there. I had a delicious cold nameko mushroom soba which I have not come across as often. The big prawn tempura as part of the ten soba was served hot and crispy. Soba was fresh and chewy. Good value- about 1000 yen for the former, 1600 yen for the latter. Set comes with small sweet red bean dessert soup and sesame flavoured tofu-like pudding Only downside is for non Japanese who are not used to sitting cross legged on tatami only floor, especially seniors who might find it hard to get up (based on my parents' experience). The Japanese seniors are used to it! Place filled up quickly at a late lunch hour on a weekend Highly recommend a great local experience!
View on GoogleIt’s a very traditional Japanese 🍜 restaurant. I enjoyed 天ざるそば. It’s delicious and price is reasonable. I may go here again. Ah, you can listen 🎧 traditional Edo period stings music 🎼 in this restaurant.
View on GoogleWhat legends. Only place around open on New Year’s Eve, so I made my way there to have the yummiest soba I’ve slurped. I got the tempura soba and the broth had a slight citrusy taste, yum. Lovely service too. Thank you Yabusoba!

View on GoogleI had the most incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was beyond amazing; I usually don't enjoy soba but this one I finished whole dish! and please order ebi tempura it delighted my taste buds. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so calm and comfortable. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional kindness of the owner(seemingly). She kindly provided us with umbrellas as there was a sudden downpour of rain just as we were about to leave. Such thoughtful gestures and care for customers is truly heartwarming. Thank you so much!
