Good option for lunch. Lots of different cuts. Salad (100Y) was delicious.

Yotsuya うし幸 Went for lunch. うし幸 tasting comparison lunch 1480 yen (excl. tax) Don't want to think about the price with tax😭 It's on the ground floor of a nice shopping building(?) in front of the station, so the rent must be factored in. You grill it on a stove A set with 2 kinds of meat (kalbi and loin?), soup, kimchi-ish cucumbers, rice, sauce, eggplant, and pumpkin. It comes with beef tallow, which you press onto the grill plate and use as oil. The kalbi-ish meat was thick and super fatty. The loin was tasty and easy to bite through; the kalbi I could just about bite through with my front teeth, but some parts still had sinew left. Pretty tasty, but there were also parts that were really fatty, slimy, and sinewy. Eggplant normal, pumpkin normal, rice normal, soup normal, cucumber normal By the 4th round of grilling the loin was gone and there were 2 small pieces of kalbi left, so there were 6 slices of kalbi and 4 slices of loin. Would've been better the other way around, since the loin was tastier. The amount was satisfying. Value for money is so-so.

I ordered the assorted platter for two at 7000 yen and was shocked when the 8 pieces of meat in the attached photo arrived. I don't think that's a normal amount of meat for 7000 yen. I figured it must be really delicious, but it wasn't particularly tasty either. Even though I ordered for two, depending on the cut there were 3 pieces or just 1, and even when there were 2, the pieces were different sizes, which is unacceptable at this price. It was my first meal out in a long time and I went to unwind, so I was really shocked.
