A nice little set meal (定食) restaurant right in the heart of Shinjuku. There’s plenty on the menu, so you can stave off any craving. I went with the ginger pork set and it was good. The volume and the price were on point. It’s very convenient and the service was fast and friendly. Not a bad option when you’re in the area.

Very attentive staff. The waiter was quick, the kitchen was also fast. We were the two only tourist in the place. We ordered two katsudon and they were good, not the best (they lacked some crispiness) we had, but really good. In and out in 30-40 mins. 2000 jpy for a two person dinner this good is a steal! I really liked the place and the experience.

I went there for dinner. There are various of food. All we ordered are Japanese style and delicious.

My partner had delicious teryaki fish, I had a mapo tofu (without meat- they had some other veggie options too and the lovely waiter talked us through it). We found this by chance- it’s so calm compared to the chaos of shunjuku, highly recommend.

The fish menu, service, and vibe was great.
