Wow!!! Delicious food and cozy atmosphere! The lunch menu is small, but very good. Next time I’ll try the uni pasta~

An Italian dining spot in an alley roughly between Edogawabashi Station and Kagurazaka Station. It had a calm, wine-bar-like atmosphere, with a spacious interior, a little counter seating and quite a few tables, but I was surprised that the owner seemed to be running it alone. The menu had plenty of options, including Italian appetizers, pasta, steaks, and grilled dishes, and I ordered 【Specialty 熟成リブロースステーキ100g】1,000円【チキンマカロニグラタン】1,150円【手羽先のフライドチキン】700円+beer which started arriving in order after about 5 minutes. The steak came on a sizzling iron plate with almost-raw onions underneath, topped with garlic chips and accompanied by steak sauce. It was medium rare, with a crisp seared exterior and rare red meat inside, fragrant and delicious. The onions gradually cooked through, but even their sharpness and crunchy texture were nicely balanced when eaten with the steak. The soy-sauce-based sauce paired well with the beef and its aged aroma. The gratin's appeal was its creamy béchamel sauce with restrained saltiness, a gentle flavor with a clear chicken-stock taste. I added white wine and a baguette to enjoy with it. The fried chicken wings also had wonderfully crisp skin and juicy white meat, fried just right and a great accompaniment to beer. Since the owner is working alone, you do need to be prepared for some waiting, but the food's quality was reliable. I'd like to come back to enjoy it again, including the pasta.
