As someone who frequently visits Michelin-starred and fine dining restaurants across Japan for my work as an influencer, I truly believe that great service is just as important as great food—and Tamagoken absolutely excels at both. The omurice was incredible. The eggs were perfectly soft and creamy, the rice was flavorful, and every bite was comforting and delicious. The hamburg steak was juicy, and the beef katsu was cooked beautifully with a wonderfully tender medium-rare center. This is honestly one of the best omurice restaurants I’ve had in Japan. One thing I really appreciated was how foreigner-friendly the restaurant is. They have a self-service ordering machine available in English, making it very easy for international visitors to order without any stress. They also offer unlimited soup and water, which you can refill yourself anytime—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. Although the restaurant is relatively small with around 16 seats, every single staff member was incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I’ve honestly visited luxury restaurants where the service wasn’t nearly as warm as it was here. The team here made me feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. Excellent food, outstanding hospitality, and great value. I truly appreciate all of your hard work. I will definitely come back again, and I’ll be recommending Tamagoken not only on my social media but also to my family, friends, and everyone visiting Japan. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got the fried shrimp omurice and I found it to be very tasty without. Usually when I have fried foods it feels like they were drenched in oil, however the shrimp was crispy and complemented the sauces well. They had a mushroom sauce that’s added on the egg with cheese on top which tied everything together. I also ordered the orange juice on the side which was very delicious. The place is cozy with a homie atmosphere and the staff were extremely nice. You also get a complementary soup in the beginning with infinite refills. Check this place out it’s very nice!

I need to wait because there is queuing but still okay, the resto is self order and the menu has some of language so no worry if you’re foreigner, payment can be use cash, QR, card, etc,. The food presentation is same with the picture and the portion is quite good compare to the price, water is self service, and they also give you free of soup. The resto provide how to enjoy the food. All staff is really polite and friendly. The ambience is good, the place is not too small but everything is looks nice. This is my first omurice when I visited Japan. I will recommen this to all my friend!

Very small but cozy local place. Service was really nice and fast, you just need to order in the screen before entering and give the receipt to the staff. Many omelette options, beef sauce is delicious, definitely recommended. They offer free water and broth with is more than welcome, specially in rainy days!

Ordering outside at machine( japan standard) payment available by all means. Stairs to restaurant are narrow and steep... Sitting area is small but offers table and bar.Small restroom is also available for customers Food is done fresh and fast. Omurice is delicious when done correctly and this one have very good demi glace sauce..
