We had no idea what we ordered. The menu was in Japanese, and the people didn't speak English. However, it was a very pleasant surprise, delicious food and very cheap.

Taka Gozen 1200 yen. It contained various things, but it was a pity that the rice was mushy. The fried food looked delicious at first, but it felt like it had been prepared in advance. The pork miso soup was delicious! If you go at lunch, it sells out by one o'clock, so it's better to go early. [If this was helpful, please like it👍!]

Places that serve Kappo cuisine and have an uncle who handles fugu (pufferfish) are generally reliable. I was able to enjoy the food in peace and at a leisurely pace. The seasoning was good, and the prices for drinks and food were just right. However, they aren't always friendly in their service.

I went to [Kappouya Taka], which is 7 minutes from Nishi-Shinjuku Station! The cold wave has subsided and it's getting warmer during the day! It's very close to my workplace and I've been curious about it!! Outside, there are signs for soft-shell turtle, milt, and monkfish, giving it an enticing atmosphere! lol Since it seemed a bit intimidating at night, I decided to visit for lunch first! The inside was bustling with counter seats and a few tables! Well, here is what I ordered this time. - Mackerel Miso Stew Set 950 yen, salad with French dressing, boiled vegetables and fried tofu, mozuku seaweed with vinegar, pickles, miso soup. A thick, large mackerel arrived in a light miso base. And the side dishes were incredibly abundant!! Everything was homey and delicious! Isn't this a great value lunch for the content and location! The staff was a landlady wearing a traditional cooking apron! A bit blunt, but that has its own charm, right! lol There was a milt hot pot on the menu for 2000 yen, which seemed like better value than I thought, so I want to go for dinner!! Since it was Valentine's Day, I also received chocolate! I have to go back to return the favor on White Day!! lol Thanks for the meal!!
