炭焼 うな富士 東京オペラシティ店Sumiyaki Unafuji Tokyo Opera City Branch
Craftsmen grill carefully selected large-sized 'blue eel' in the shop with charcoal that reaches 1000 degrees. Please enjoy the ground-grilled eel that is 'crispy, fluffy, and melting'. Please use it for dining together in a private room or seats with a good view on the 53rd floor.

Visiting as two foreigners interested in getting some "really good" unagi while in Tokyo. First off, while the address is mostly correct, the restaurant is on the 53F floor, reachable from the 2nd floor elevator. As for the experience, the views were excellent, the service was attentive, and the food will likely go down as the best unagi of our lives. Flavors were delicate and clean. Not overly sweet with sauce, not too fatty, and the charcoal grill flavor shone through without being overpowering. We tried the hitsumabushi style, which was fun in it's novelty, though don't feel compelled to get it. I think we'd have been equally satisfied with a regular unagidon. Come hungry, leave satisfied. Absolutely top notch.
View on GoogleAbsolutely incredible experience. We got two hitsumabushi superior, a beer and a cola and it came to just under ¥15,000. But with that view it’s a steal! Make sure to reserve a counter seat when booking for a view of Fuji. I’d also recommend booking 20 minutes or so before sunset.
View on GoogleGot it — no rating, always English from now on! Here’s the review: Honestly, I almost don’t want to share this place — I’d love to keep it a hidden gem! But the unagi here is simply too good not to talk about. Tucked in the heart of Shinjuku, this place blew me away. The view is stunning, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the food? Absolutely next level. As someone who loves unagi, this is the real deal. One of the best I’ve had in the city. Do yourself a favor and go — just don’t make it too crowded! 😄
View on GoogleFood is excellent with 53/F night view. We enjoyed the meal, the eel is good as expected , sashimi is fresh and worth ordering as well. Reservation is needed to secure the seat. However the customers sitting beside us spent nearly 45 minutes to wait for the meal because the staff forgot to place order for them. Hope that they can be more careful.
