Our friend recommended this place and we are not disappointed! It was so tasty and very different than any ramen I had in a good way! The broth is so full of niboshi flavor, the pork slices are thick and soft. Even the egg is so good too. The giant piece of seaweed gives a dramatic entrance and we love it. Staff here is welcoming and friendly and since we come closer to 11am there is no wait and so calm. Highly recommended!

Visited this place 10 years ago and still come back once in a while whenever I'm in Tokyo. A very cozy, tiny ramen place you must try. The broth is a toasty fish stock unlike any other ramen I have tried. Be prepared the broth might taste a bit fishy for some, but it is definitely rich and umami. You might need to queue for almost an hour during busy hours over the weekend, but the rest of the time should be fine.

I had such a great time here. My food provider was Kobayashi. We had a fun conversation about our mutual love for Japanese cars and racing. Even told me about places where racing is sill legal where he is from. But besides that, the food was very very good. Filling and yet still felt very fresh. It's small quant place that is clean and still inviting. This is a great spot to check out if you are in Shinjuku areaz su they are open 24hrs a day. Great time

My favorite ramen in Tokyo. Cannot forget the texture of large noodle which makes me fly from Unites States several times. Opens 24 hours so it is better visiting for breakfast since this place is crowded.

I stumbled upon Sugoi Niboshi Ramen Nagi Shinjuku Golden Gai Honkan while walking around Golden Gai, and it turned out to be such a fun and memorable stop with a unique ordering and delivery style—they take your order first, then you pay through a vending machine when they bring you upstairs, and it’s honestly worth the wait. I ordered the niboshi ramen, and the broth was incredibly rich and full of flavor without being too heavy, paired with super smooth, perfectly cooked noodles. It came with dry anchovies topping, which added an extra punch of umami and made the bowl even more interesting. For about $21 total for two people, it felt like a great deal, especially for the quality and the location—definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
