The best statue in Tokyo. They change clothes very often.

This is Kobo chan, the manga character that Masashi Ueda created. He lives in Kagurazaka, and has created Kobo chan in his house here too. He is said to stroll the streets often. The small statue is probably Ode to him. The locals usually dress Kobo chan depending on the season, so don’t be alarmed if you see a well dressed tiny statue while out on a walk.

Statue of kobo-chan, the titular character of the 1980's manga kobo the lil rascal. Locals change his clothes depending on the weather, and early July there is a kobo-chan themed festival each year.
