Soba izakaya located in the basement of a building that enters from Shakurimon Street, Arakicho. A friendly master from Kochi welcomes you. Impression that the counter is the main one and suitable for 1-2 people, but there were also table seats in the back that can seat about 4 people. Snacks including sashimi are abundant, and sake flows. Kochi cuisine and local sake are also available, and it seems there are many regular customers from Kochi. I enjoyed soba for finishing.

I visited for the first time because I was brought by a friend. The shop has a calm atmosphere and is a very comfortable space. There are many types of sake, and all the food is delicious, and a fun time passed in a flash. I forgot to take a photo, but I had Kochi-style straw-grilled bonito with salt. It was exquisite! Other food and soba are also really delicious, and I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

While listening to music flowing quietly, you can enjoy beer, drinks using Kochi fruits, and snacks. There may be many meals that go well with sake. The small soba for finishing is also refreshing with yuzu and delicious! If one or two people, the counter, if 4 or more people, the semi-private table seats in the back. If you want to eat properly, it is recommended to come after eating soba at the sister store on the Akebonobashi side (Soba Shokudo Bon). ※Now back to the B1 floor at the time of opening

Shop on the B1 floor located in an alley from Shakurimon Street in Arakicho. When entering the shop, there is a counter, and it seems there are box seats in the back that are not used for lunch. Although it is called Soba & Bar, looking at the night menu and the display in the shop, it also looks like a Tosa cuisine Izakaya. Lunch menu includes soba and mini tempura bowl that are under 3 digits, but with this lineup of menus, you will definitely order it, "Spice Curry Nanban Soba" 1,000 yen. Because I was asked "Today the meat is pork, is it okay?", it seems the ingredients sometimes change. Because it is managed by one person, it takes a little time until the food comes out. Curry Nanban comes out in a large bowl. On top, pork and fried sliced burdock are placed. Fashionable, isn't it. Speaking of soba shop curry, I imagine something with a sweet broth, but this one, as it claims "Spice Curry Nanban Soba", the spiciness hits hard immediately. Until numbness remains on the tongue. It feels like it has a bit of acidity too. You can add a one-bite rice to the Curry Nanban. This, you should order. As you continue to eat soba, a little soup will remain at the end, so you can enjoy the spices of the soup while resetting your tongue with rice.

Actually this shop has 2 shops in the same building, the B1 floor was closed, and I visited the shop on the 1st floor. However, when I asked, the 1st floor is scheduled to be closed due to management reasons, so I decided to post to the underground bar. This shop, the shop name Kogebon, I wonder what it is, it turns out it comes from Kochi. Kochi products are scattered throughout the menu. Bonito tataki is grilled in the shop using straw. In Tokyo, it is often eaten with ponzu, but you can also order salt bonito tataki. Sake, shochu, etc. from Kochi are available. Returning to the origin of the shop name, actually the owner chef's parents run a soba shop in Kochi. The shop name is "Kogetsu". Because he was Kogetsu's child, he was called Kogebon, so he named the shop Kogebon. Kochi seems to be the prefecture with the fewest soba shops in Japan. Maybe because of that, he named the shop with the pride that Kochi soba is also delicious. Soba is of course delicious! You should also eat soba and snacks from Kochi and enjoy the wonderful marriage!
