Kaiseki restaurant

The back street of Kagurazaka has a nostalgic atmosphere that makes you feel the old capital. Lured by the light of the lanterns, the sound of Jazz comes from behind the sliding doors... The cuisine at the Kagurazaka SHUN branch uses fresh fish and shellfish delivered every morning from Tsukiji, as well as carefully selected tofu and yuba. You will be healed in body and soul with kaiseki cuisine that captures the seasons and sake and shochu carefully selected from all over the country. The space, full of Kagurazaka atmosphere and renovated from a 30-year-old house, is well-equipped with atmospheric private rooms. Recommended not only for casual drinking, but also for business entertainment and anniversaries. In particular, for sake, they focus on notable brands rather than quantity, and have hard-to-get sake such as Juyondai, Shinsaku, and Dassai, which can be enjoyed with seasonal dishes.

For lunch, this was my first visit. A restaurant with a good atmosphere and completely private rooms. The white rice was very delicious and made me want to eat more. The Saikyo grilled fish was tender and very delicious. For 3,000 yen, this meal and atmosphere are cheap, I think. This area is in a back alley and hard to find, but there are many hidden gems.
