Good location where you can sit down and have a nice view of the park. Matcha and ice cream are nice quality as well 🥰
View on GoogleGreat location inside the Japanese Garden in the park. Staff are really lovely, as is still usual they had little English - but then I have no Japanese! The sweets were great, especially the matcha ice cream! We especially enjoyed the red bean paste. It is quite expensive as the portions are small, but that is typical of what I would expect in a park in the UK as well. No toilets onsite, but this is fine as there are plenty scattered about the park.
View on GoogleWinter morning, oh, that was nice to visit this famous Shinjuku park in Tokyo. Then, you need to relax yourself completely here. So, I stopped by this small place, and sat outside for a while first, submerging myself quietly in the park views in front of me. Then, I stepped inside the store(café) and ordered a sweet sticky rice with mashed red bean inside (seasonal specials) and a cup of green tea (matcha). They were so good, especially the park views were still in my sights through windows.
View on GoogleI tried the green tea and tasted very strong like the traditional Japanese green tea. I thought I was slightly pricy for the very small amount but the location is in a great spot to have a rest after a long walk in the garden. Relaxing to see the view outside the shop
View on GoogleTucked away to the side of the garden, this cute spot is a nice place to take a break and enjoy some AC, snacks/drinks. Staff are friendly. We tried the Uji matcha soft cream and it was the perfect balance of sweetness and richness. Would definitely recommend, especially on a hot day.
