Randomly pick this place for our dinner and it's unexpectedly good! They have limited dishes in the menu but All the yakitori were delicious! The owner doesn't speak English and they don't have English menu, but thanks to Google translate, we r still able to order and communicate. They serve draft beer in frozen glass, we had a enjoyable dinner here. Hope this place maintained and we shall visit to this place again!
View on GoogleI am a native and go to this yakitori restaurant about twice a month. I have encountered foreigners entering the store on several occasions, and I have never seen a single instance of a waiter being rude to a foreigner. I think the person who came to write the post either did something very bad or is lying. Someone commented that they were yelled at for playing a video at a "reasonable volume" for about 10 seconds, I can imagine that the sound was quite loud in a quiet restaurant, even if it was reasonable for that person. Most of the foreigners are very quiet and likable, I can imagine that the sound was quite loud in a quiet restaurant, even if it was reasonable for such a noisy person. Such people should not come back and should go to the Kabuki-za tower.
View on GoogleAwesome yakitori-ya; have been many times. Delicious fresh high-quality chicken, good Japanese draft beer served in chilled glasses, very friendly service (by the owners), and a cosy atmosphere. Other food is great too, including bacon-wrapped tomatos and potato salad. Nice sake as well.
View on GoogleThe service was atrocious! Super rude old lady. We were 4 people: 2 Japanese and 2 non-Japanese. She treated those of us who were not Japanese rudely (e.g not looking at us when we spoke to her in JAPANESE ). She was super xenophobic towards us throughout our entire dinner there. At some point, I ordered おしんこto which she replied ここはお寿司屋さんじゃないから一品ずつ注文できないのよ。わかる? The food was alright but a lot of things were sold out and we had to wait for ages for our food to arrive. We used the phone to watch a 10 sec video and the volume level was very reasonable, definitely not as loud as some people who were talking very loudly there. The old lady told us off by shoving a sign in English into my face that said “No Phones” as if I’m a child who needs to be reprimanded. I told her in Japanese: “don’t you think this is rude?” to which she shoved the other sign in Japanese and replied that you cannot your phone here. I don’t mind putting my phone away and apologising but the way she approach the issue was completely in appropriate and rude. She would have never done that if all of us were Japanese. Hopefully, this lady realises that people of other nationalities are humans too!
View on GoogleFun little restaurant. They have good yakitori and other skewers.
