Cozy Singaporean restaurant in the neighborhood of Takadanobaba area. The food is tasty and usually crowded in lunch hours. The place don't accept any electronic payments or credit card so prepare cash. The ATM corner is just next to the place. Price ranges from 7-10$ for lunch and 15-20$ for dinner. If you cannot speak japanese , have someone who can with you. Recommended

Rough around the edges, but surprisingly tasty. That's my honest impression. The offal and meat from four-legged animals have a slight odor, but it's tolerable if you think of it as Asian cuisine. The signature Hainanese chicken rice uses jasmine rice properly cooked in broth, and it's delicious. It doesn't have that artificial seasoning taste common at neighborhood Chinese restaurants, and the soup that comes with the set meal is a solid chicken-bone broth. Above all, the portions are huge and cheap, so it's good when you want a hearty meal.

【The kind of restaurant to visit with a big eater who spends a large share of their budget on food】 The portions are absolutely huge. But cheap and delicious. Lunch is in the 800円 range. You can also order the lunch menu at night for an extra 100円. These prices in Tokyo make me super happy. Chinese people really know how to cook. I ordered the beef noodles, and they were delicious. Despite the huge portion, they even came with rice. Amazing. On a later visit, I ordered fried rice vermicelli à la carte and the paiko rice lunch set. For some reason, even the à la carte fried rice vermicelli came with rice…. The paiko rice had so much rice I wondered whether it was a whole rice-measuring cup's worth…? Both were really delicious. Maybe I'll go eat there again tomorrow.

Delicious! Please don't close down! Shaoxing wine and river shrimp go so well together, and the Singapore laksa has a lovely shrimp broth, with an amazing combination of heat and coconut sweetness. They seem to have several kinds of rice too. But the customer service is rough… the language barrier… dirty glasses and all….
