I was first brought there for a dinner with my Japanese partner and colleagues and didn’t manage to write a review then. I always remember this small restaurant but didn’t know the name nor the precise location. My colleague brought me there again this time during lunch and I wasn’t going to make the same mistake again! They serve sets during lunch and dinner although the main attraction is the centrally placed fire pit where they barbecue fish using Japanese charcoal. The fish served is really freshed and very little (if any) seasoning is used. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back here again!

Highly recommend this izakaya restaurant. More expensive than the average, but ingredients are very fresh. Serves only seasonal food and menu changes daily. Staff speaks English. No English menu, but chef brought out the fresh ingredients for selection.

Another my favorite seafood restaurant at Shinjyuku It had been 4 or more years last time I visit. The chef and staff were all changed though their grilled fish are still good.

Great atmosphere and good fish. It is grilled in front of you and taste delicious! A great discovery and not too expensive for central Tokyo. The menu is only in English but the staff is there to help. Highly recommended!

Good mood to see fishes being cooked. Little bit expensive. One drink order per person is mandatory. Hot around the fire.
