I went there last year as a fan of Slam Dunk's Rukawa Kaede. I don't eat meat so I ordered Tsukemen then took out the meat. So I can't comment on its taste. My bf order the recommended one from the internet (the one in the photo) and he said it was good but nothing so special for him. The service is not so good and not foreigner-friendly. Ordering via a machine may make the process much faster but at the same time we can't ask about anything. But I think it's quite common for this type of restaurant. I think the atmosphere is not bad for a typical small ramen shop in JP but there is nothing special too, except Slam Dunk's props. Anyway, I give points for the name of the restaurant.
View on GoogleI went here for the slam dunk theme but yah expect than the store name there's nothing. Ramen was normal and couldn't find nothing special for my look. If you're hungry and want to eat normal level ramen I would say go here for the soy sauce ramen. There's much more unique places in Shinjuku.
View on GoogleWe tried the tsukumen and shoyu ramen, and both were delicious! We ate it for dinner, and again for lunch the next day. Great broth and very tender meat slices with just the right ratio of fats and lean meat. This place sits 10 pax around the bar counter, that provides you a view of the cooking process. Tiny shop, but amazing ramen!
View on GoogleThis restaurant is located in near Shinjuku station. When I went there, there was a line to get in a ramen restaurant. You have to order through buying a ticket. The ticket machine took only cash and I wasn’t able to use credit card. This restaurant is tiny and there are only counters (maybe 10 or so). The quality of the food was great. It was very sophisticated ramen!!
View on GooglePossibly the best ramen I’ve ever had. The shio soba one is even better in comparison to Tsuta’s shoyu soba to me. The sweetness from the shellfish balances perfectly against the beef in the broth. A must try if you happen to pass by the area For those of you who found truffle a bit overwhelming in ramen(Tsuta), this is perfect. This is the same clear broth style with nothing in the way of the beef and shellfish.
