Please enjoy our brand pork shabu-shabu and completely original Japanese-style samgyeopsal. The owner has personally tasted over 1kg of pork every day, selecting only the best brand pork from all over the country. We chose them not because they are famous breeds, but because they have strong aroma, taste, and umami, and consistent quality. Please try it at least once.

I was craving shabu-shabu today, so I opened Tabelog and looked up some places around the area. This restaurant caught my attention because it was ranked among Tokyo’s Top 100 restaurants, and it also had some great reviews. It was a Monday night, and thankfully, no reservation was required. I walked in with two people and was able to get a table without any trouble. I initially planned to order the ¥5,500 shabu-shabu course, but the waitress recommended the ¥7,500 course, which offered a wider variety of meats. We decided to go with her recommendation, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The overall quality of the meat was very good, and the service was attentive and friendly. One of the highlights was the ramen at the end. They take the flavorful broth left from cooking the meat and use it to make ramen, which was a really nice way to finish the meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. My only hesitation is the price. At ¥7,500 per person, I think there are probably other restaurants in Tokyo that offer better cost performance. The quality is certainly there, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best value for money.
View on GoogleUpdate: We appreciate the quick reply from the restaurant. Regarding the cultural differences about taking food home, it was very unfortunate that due to language difficulty, it was not clearly communicated. Maybe the restaurant should have a google translator readily available for use in situation like this. Also, we hope that the restaurant would reconsider their 1 person 1 pork meal policy for those who are not super hungry but would still want to try the food by sharing. Original: We were told that we need to try this restaurant when we are in Japan, so we did on a late rainy afternoon. We were not too hungry to begin with but this is the only time for us to stop by. We didn't have a reservation so we ended up waiting for 20 minutes, but the place wasn't even full. Not sure what the issue was. During our ordering, we were stunned that everyone MUST order 1 pork entree. We could not, for example, order 2 entrees for 3 people. We couldn't just order appetizers for the third person since she was not too hungry. Definitely we were not happy. All 3 pork entrées were very flavorful and tender. They were very thick and juicy. The loin was the only kind that was a bit dry but the Boston Butt was good. When we were done, we had some leftover so we asked for a takeout box. To our surprise, they said they don't have any takeout boxes. What? We paid for our meal and we can't take the leftover home? Again, not sure if we like that or not. Based on these experiences, I think we will definitely not return again. There are so many other restaurants out there that we haven't tried yet.

View on GoogleThis was our best meal yet 2 days in to our trip. The restaurant is upstairs and a comfortable classy but modern vibe. The server had great recommendations. We got her top two and they were fantastic and she was very good at explaining all the side dishes, sauces and the types of dishes. When we arrived at opening there was a Japanese gentleman who looked 50s already waiting. This is clearly catered towards locals, the table nearby of locals were calling “Sumimasen” to summon the server. We were tired and not in a rush an the restaurant was not busy so we opted to chit chat and wait for server when she was ready to come to us. All in all we were there for about an hour and an amazing meal. Would return to try other dishes if we weren’t moving hotels to other side of Tokyo tonight.
View on GooglePork was ok but nothing to shout about. Service was average as waiter did not tell us the we can have shabu shabu and grilling. They also didn’t advise when we over ordered as the portion of fried Katsu was huge.
