Great dango, al dente with a satisfying bite. The shaved ice is huge, def can share between 2-4 ppl.

This dango shop in Shinjuku is, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had in my life. Even though I visited quite a long time ago, the memory of it still feels vivid. The texture was incredibly soft and tender, perfectly smooth with no dryness or hardness at all. Every bite felt balanced and comforting, simple yet deeply satisfying. I honestly can’t remember exactly which flavors I tried back then, but I clearly remember how good they were. It’s the kind of place that leaves an impression beyond specific details—you just know it was exceptional. If I ever have the chance to return to Japan, this will definitely be one of the first places I want to revisit. Seeing so many local customers there gave me confidence that this shop is well-loved and established. I truly hope it continues to thrive and stay exactly where it is, because it deserves to be experienced again and again and again.

Amazing experience with a great dango tasting opportunity. Lots of variations including seasonal ones, the apricot was our fave. The accompanying tea is a must and the service is lovely. Thankfully, many tourists only buy from the shop and may not notice the actual sit down restaurant. It is also typically near capacity so queues will put people off. We got lucky and got in immediately and had a lovely experience in the peace of the restaurant frequented by older locals enjoying tea together. Great atmosphere but not to be spoiled with selfies, etc.

I ordered the Dango Set and Kakigori, and both were absolutely delicious! The kakigori was especially perfect for this hot day. The inside of the shop was cool and comfortable, making the experience even better. There was about a 15-minute wait to get in, but since we were able to wait inside, we didn’t feel stressed by the heat at all. They also offer takeout, so next time I’d love to buy a variety of dango to enjoy at home!

Lots of dango to choose from. It's a really popular place. There's a constant line-up durng mid-afternoon on a weekend. From strawberry daifuku's to dangoes of many different flavours. The black sesame dango is slightly more salty and sweet, which I didn't expect. It's a good dango, both soft and chewy. It feels like it's all freshly made too. The expiry date for all of the products is the same day, so it's recommended to eat it as soon as possible.
