This izakaya serving pork motsu skewers is located near Shinjuku Sanchome Station and is crowded with local businessmen and office workers. All of the pork motsu skewers at this izakaya are fresh and the meat is large enough to be satisfying, yet juicy and delicious enough to eat as many as you like. Our favorite menu item is the "Liver Negi-Shio", which is fresh pork liver topped with a special sauce of plenty of scallions and sesame oil. One bite and you will be surprised at how delicious it is. It is sure to make your drinks go down a treat. The recommended menu changes depending on the day, so it is a good idea to ask the waiter for the day's recommendation. The izakaya is not large, so the space between you and the person sitting next to you is quite small. You will often be asked to share a seat. Smoking is allowed in this izakaya, but it is better to ask the person next to you or at the same table if you can smoke before smoking. As long as you keep your manners, everyone is very friendly.

True hidden gems and local favourite for beef Kushi-yaki and Motsu-nabe (stewed pork offal with Soup) It has bunches of menu for Toriyaki-style grill (but all menu are beef). Great selective ingredients, simple but favourful seasoning. Varieties of menu. It might be not foreigner freindly, but if you want to challenge yourself and try something very local. This is your perfect choice!

We don’t speak Japanese (gomenasai). They speak very little English. But we made it work! (Yatta!) 🥹❤️ The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious! We loved our stay. Arigatou gozaimasu! Oishikatta❤️

I had much expectation to the restaurant from all the reviews I have read. When I happily arrived and asked for a table for 2, one of the waiters came greeting and asked if I know any Japanese. I told him that I speak English and the waiter replied that the menu is all in Japanese without English and didn't allow us to go in. I feel ashamed for the waiter's poor attitude as if I were still living in the 60s with racist bias. Not recommended to tourists who cannot read and speak Japanese as it would be a waste of time to go there and got rejected. A bad experience and totally doing no good to Japanese hospitality.

No non Japanese speaker is allowed. Japanese only restaurant. Pity… My Japanese friend recommended me this restaurant. With all the excitement and expectation, we ended up with disappointment and racism, as we don’t speak Japanese. The waiter asked us leave and served Japanese waiting behind us only.
