Yamamotoyama's first ochazuke and onigiri specialty store. Ochazuke based on hojicha dashi made by the "original sencha merchant" and onigiri fragrant with high-quality seaweed will satisfy the customer's stomach and heart. 【Business Hours】7:00~23:00 (LO 22:00)

We had the worst experience and service here during our whole trip in Japan. The waiter is extremely rude, yelled at me for suggesting to share one big dish with my friend (even though the seats are all empty — no wonder they don’t have business) Then he yelled at me again when asking me to sign the credit card receipt. Fish is not fresh, bad quality. Avoid this place if you can. Unbelievably bad service and attitude toward customers.

A restaurant located inside the JR ticket gate and closer to Yamanote platform (part of EATon Lumine area). Nori ochazuke is good but a bit boring after half a bowl. Luckily the karaage is tastier. Please add some protein to your meal.

A convenient and delicious place to try Japanese tea over rice breakfast. The store is located inside the station once you go through with your ticket. I like to stop by when I have an early train out somewhere and need a quick light meal / breakfast. Yamamotoyama is originally known for its seaweed and teas, so the quality used as ingredients are high quality. Perfect place to get your iodine fix! You can ask for extra tea (free of charge) if you want more tea to pour over your rice. If you’re short on time and need to grab and go, they have excellent rice ball (onigiri) selections for take out too.

The umeboshi onigiri is absolutely delicious and so was the salmon one.
