This place owns. It's small and located in a grotty basement, but that's exactly the kind of atmosphere that works so well. At the time of writing they had about 12 pinball tables and a handful of lightgun shooters. Highlights being Pinbot, White Water, Terminator 2, Taxi and Dr. Dude. If you're walking from Takadanobaba Station, it's on the same street as Mikado Game Center. Right on the corner next to a vending machine. It can be easy to miss because there's no obvious signs from the outside that anything exists downstairs. There's a toilet down there too, and yeah, like other reviews have mentioned it smells heavily of stale piss. Doesn't drift outside the bathroom though, so not really an issue.
View on GoogleFor pinball this is a gooder. From the American dream to the land overseas, these machines have been well taken care of. Slap in your 100 yens and groove to the buttons and sounds of flippers as you are transported back to a land of peace and tranquility... Until Terminator pinball smacks you out of it. Great stuff! Small but full of goodies!
View on GoogleOh man, I can’t describe how good this place is! It was so nostalgic to see all these retro cabinets in one place. Most of the games were new to me, but they were definitely interesting, addicting and returned me to the time when I was a lot younger and happier! 10yen dagashi shop has a pretty good selection of bite-sized snacks. This is definitely one of those places you visit out of curiosity, but stay for the feels!
View on GoogleStepping into this little game center instantly transformed me into a child. A great retro game center with a choice selection of classic arcade games from the 80s and 90s. Games have high quality speakers plugged in to increase the volume and enhance the audio quality. The have a good variety of game music CDs to purchase as well. Hours are unpredictable but we found it open on the weekend. One of my favourite places in all of Japan.
View on GoogleThis is an awesome place for people who grew up in 19xx and played them as a kid! So many memories... Space Invaders...Arkanoid...Pole Position...and many more. It's not a "Museum", just a place where you can enjoy playing the games of the past... In the basement there is also a chance to play some old-style pinballs... Terminator 2, etc... This place is worth every 100¥ coin... Caveat: don't miss the entrance...it's just 2 staircases...see the picture...
