They were so rude! Even though they had a free table and two seats at the bar, they kept us waiting just because they were incapable of cleaning the table. Instead of letting us sit they kept telling where we should wait. After a long while staring at the free table we decided to leave.

Established in 1964. All seats non-smoking. Only Saturday and Sunday 14:00-19:00. Visited Saturday around 17:55. "We close at 19:00, is that okay?" Successfully entered. Counter seat in the back. ・Blend 750 yen ・Thin-skinned chestnut Mont Blanc 450 yen Total 1,200 yen Retro atmosphere inside the shop. Number of people varies from 1 person to groups. Lively space with conversations. Mont Blanc in about 14 minutes. Lots of sweet chestnut paste. Cream inside has just the right sweetness. Happy that there's plenty of cream too. Base is chocolate sponge. Coffee 8 minutes later. Fragrant bitterness and roasted aroma ◎. Deep taste and satisfying ◎. Acidity increases in the second half. Enjoyed slowly and left the shop. Should go with plenty of time. Thank you for the meal.

A cafe around Shinjuku. The variety of teas is extensive, and I had a tea flavored with cassis blueberry. For a Sunday in Shinjuku, the atmosphere was calm, and I was able to stay for a while. I also had the Mont Blanc, and it was delicious.

2 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. A pure cafe (jun-kissa) wrapped in calm lighting and classic interior. This time I ordered Brazil. Impressive fragrant and sweet aroma, gentle bitterness and mellow richness spread slowly in the mouth. Feels like the nutty flavor typical of Brazil and a hint of sweetness, acidity is restrained. If you want to enjoy delicious coffee quietly in Shinjuku, this is a recommended shop!
