7 minutes' walk from Takadanobaba Station, 2 minutes' walk from Nishi-Waseda!! Opened in 2007 in 'Takadanobaba,' Japan's most fiercely competitive ramen district, we are an unshakably popular shop with 'over 15 years in business'!! We have been honored with various awards and even shone as 'No. 1 in Japan'✨ And at ramen events across the country, where famous ramen shops gather from all over Japan, we have broken numerous records. However, we never let such status or honors go to our heads. We will keep working hard every day to make our customers even happier! Creating while imagining our customers' delight! 'Soup, noodles, toppings, bowls, hospitality, service, ingredients...' We want to make no compromises on any of them and keep evolving every day…

I'm not a fan of ramen, so take all with a grain of salt. My friend recommended me this place and said it's her favorite in the area, so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the deluxe shio ramen (1600 yen) with the ordering machine. Service was fast, so I got it within 5-10 minutes. It was okay. It tasted like any other shio ramen I've had before.I had no problems with it except that to me it wasn't really worth it. For being called 'deluxe' ramen I felt like the toppings were pretty normal. There was no AC either. A little uncomfortable with how hot summer is! But I'd come back if I was invited. 3/5 personally but I'll put 4/5 since I'm biased.

Can't recommend this place enough! Their spicy ramen is currently my favourite in Tokyo; I come here two to three times a month. The broth is always super flavourful, and the eggs are always the perfect consistency of runny. Seats are a little on the low side but it's not a deal-breaker. The chashu is kind of hit-or-miss; there's been really fantastic days and some mediocre days. Overall, highly recommend.

I had the shio ramen and it was great. I don't even like shio broth and I liked this one. Like other reviews say, the egg is especially good with the little mustard seeds on it. The owner is very nice too! I've eaten at and reviewed so many ramen places but ordering from an old machine is always tricky and he was very helpful. Thanks!

It’s funny how the thing that pops out to me the most about this ramen shop isn’t necessarily the ramen itself, but the taste of the egg in the ramen. I remember biting into the egg and the yolk being absolutely perfect. The yolk was an orange-red color, its exterior was solidified, yet the interior contained the creamy yolk texture without being too watery. The second time around, I didn’t come to this ramen shop for its ramen, but for the egg.

I liked the chashu alright. The rest… mmm… maybe my taste is not a common one. I just cannot believe it was once the No.1 Sio ramen in Japan. It seems just a simple Shoyu ramen without charactor. It was my second time to retry but my judgement remained. Sorry.
