This was, without question, the best restaurant I visited in Japan and one of the best meals of my life. No exaggeration. Of all the restaurants I tried, this is the one place I would tell every visitor to Japan they absolutely must experience. I ordered the shabu-shabu course, which included an excellent bottle of high-grade sake. The Wagyu was unbelievable. The marbling speaks for itself in the photos, and each delicate, thinly sliced piece was cooked tableside in a delicious hot broth by our wonderful server. It was round after round of incredible Wagyu, all prepared perfectly. The course also included lobster and several excellent appetizers beforehand. Nobody spoke English, so we communicated through Google Translate, which honestly made the experience feel even more authentic and special. The service was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. We were seated beside a window overlooking the city, and the nighttime views were beautiful. The restaurant itself is stunning, with walls lined with expensive wines, champagnes, and whiskies, plus live koi fish near the entrance. It truly feels like an “if you know, you know” destination. The only challenge is finding it. From the first floor, you need to locate the Elevator E section and take it to the 53rd floor. Expect to spend at least five or ten minutes figuring it out, but do not give up. It is absolutely worth it. A truly special, unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend Matsuzakagyu Yoshida highly enough.

We booked a table near the window and reserved two ¥13200-course. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. The sauce was not too salty. It was the best sukiyaki I’ve ever had in Japan.

On the 53rd floor of the Tokyo Opera building you will find this beautiful restaurant. Our table was facing Shibuya and we could see Tokyo Tower. We went for a multi course wagyu tasting menu which was moderately priced but with the view and the food cooked and presented at the table it was well worth it.

A very tasteful and elegant restaurant on the 53rd floor, overlooking the city. Been here for lunch, arrived at 11:15, there was barely any queue, was seated promptly at 11:30. The order was taken efficiently, then in about 15 minutes or so the food was served. The black wagyu lunch was very tasty and great value. The additional items included rice, pickles, green tea, side salad with balsamic, and miso soup. The place was quiet with gentle music playing in the background.

Amazing Wagyu Sukiyaki at 1600 yen during lunch hours! Restaurant is located on the 43rd floor (elevator access only from 2nd floor). Lines started forming from 10:30AM, which is 1 hour before lunch opening at 11:30AM. You can not get a window seat unless you reserve a couple days in advance and need to order a course (around 6000-10000 yen). With 500 yen extra, you can get double Wagyu beef for the lunch Sukiyaki. Rice is allowed 1 free refill. Miso and egg is 50 yen each.
