This is a family run restaurant, very authentic and delicious shabu shabu and sukiyaki. Food portions were generous, meat quality is good and fresh. Old lady owner and staffs were extremely friendly and accommodating. English menu is available on request. Only accepts cash.

The beef is so good, I can't get it out of my head! Will definitely eat here again when I'm in Tokyo

Though it seems they have few english speaking visitors, the food is fresh and the staff helpful. Averaged priced shabu shabu and sukiyaki options. The meat was delicious. If you have had neither the staff was helpful explaining the experience.

We came because we wanted to experience a non tourist-oriented restaurant and we found the few reviews in English listed here and we can confirm all the good what is written here. The staff doesn't speak much English but one older lady yes (and German too) and she was very helpful and kind. Count for 2600 ¥ for one person shabu-shabu. Only locals here and this is what we wanted. Recommended.

run by this very friendly English speaking matriarch (not very well but good enough to communicate 😊) with her 2 sons. we couldn’t ask for a more comforting, simple and authentic shabu shabu in the heart of Kagurazaka. hope to come back again! ❤️
