Really awful burger. Had the western burger. Asked for the burger to be medium rare, it came out almost fully well done. Chewy beef. Low quality beef. The "bacon" was just a giant slice of thick chewy fat. Consistency is really closer to fatback than bacon. That's not what you briefly grill and put on a burger. "Bacon" that thick should be slow cooked and then seared so it melts in your mouth. Otherwise use bacon with actual meat, and preferably thinner cut. It should add a smokey flavor and, if American style, add a crispy texture. BBQ sauce flowing all over the bun, so it's a mess, not a well constructed burger. The burger itself was a small, hard little ball of beef. Too small. I'm ok with the shape, but if you do it that way (often like a home cooked burger in the US), then it should be even easier to make it medium rare. Very forgettable ambiance. Not upscale, not homey, not comfortable. Looks like they just bought a bunch of used broke-down furniture from another failing restaurant because they didn't want to invest much. Peak lunch time and the place was mainly empty. I see why.

We did a causal lunch at Martinburger and tried the avocado mushroom burger. The bun was crispy and the beef patty was juicy. The taste of the avocado was a bit too mild. It would be even better if the veggies were fresher. Price is reasonable. No wait at all. Can give it a try if you fancy a burger.

The best burger I’ve had in Asia! Honestly not surprised that a Japanese restaurant could do a great burger (they are amazing at French, Italian, etc and other foreign food), but this was both really good and a bit innovative, with some specialty burgers combining some great elements of burger/diner cuisine. If this were in the US, it would be very popular, but in Tokyo, it is outstanding, and well worth a trip on the subway.

Super solid burger. Great vibes. I came here several months ago so the prices might be a little different from the menu I posted. The people who run the shop are all really chill, one of the guys used to live in NYC so he knows what's up. The prices seem pretty fair for what you get.
