Tasty selection of meats, friendly service staff, and spacious environment to enjoy a good BBQ. Ordered the 13 items set and enjoyed a good spread of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. 3 seconds heart + tongue were highlights.

Very fresh and high quality food. One of the best yakuniku I've had. The intestines and wagyu steak were the highlights.

新宿にある「溶岩焼薩摩屋」を訪問。 店内は暗めの内装で、やや賑やかめの雰囲気。 ゆっくり落ち着いてというよりは、グループで気軽に楽しむタイプのお店です。 溶岩プレートで焼くスタイルが特徴で、煙と香ばしい香りが広がります。 注文したのは 牛タン、豚トロ、溶岩焼ホルモンなど。 牛タンは適度な厚みで食感は悪くないものの、もう一歩旨みのインパクトが欲しい印象。 豚トロは脂の甘みがしっかりあり、焼き上がりの香ばしさは良好。 ホルモンはジューシーですが、やや味付けが強めで単調に感じる場面もありました。 全体的に悪くはないものの、価格を考えるともう少し満足感が欲しいところ。 気軽に焼きを楽しむには良いですが、味重視で選ぶとやや物足りなさも感じる一軒でした。
