The boss was very rude to foreigners. Yelled at me to read the rules outside. Rule said min one drink. I said that’s fine. Then he said JAPANESE ONLY. Japanese have really gone down the hill nowadays.
View on GoogleCosy tiny restaurant with lots of different katsu options. Perfect for a quick bite. The cook was polite and you can see him picking all the small bites (mushroom, onion, fish, chicken, beef etc.) dipping them in the batter and frying them. We had the 10 pieces sample which was great and also tried the Donyaki skewers which are something different and interesting. Maybe not for all tastes but worth trying it! You can also smoke if you like but the doors are open so it didn’t smell.
View on GoogleA cozy Japanese pub with deep fried food. It's a great place to grab a beer. It has very few seats and had the common "seat charge" which is per person so for larger groups can be inconvenient. The staff is cool and talkative, the food is nice. The pricing is on a higher end but it's a pub in the centre of the busiest street - so makes sense.
View on GoogleThe owner was terrible to foreigners. Everyone else was given a towel to wipe their hands, but we weren’t served any. He also didn’t give us a bowl for our soup, even after asking. The microwave looked very dirty too. Really disappointing experience. I don’t recommend this place.
View on GoogleHonestly a scam. They don't tell you until the end that you have to pay 300y to sit. They made us choose food and served us, and after being served, they told us buying alcool was obligated. They didnt charged the right one and we overpayed. The food was good but extremely small amount. Don't go there. We end up paying 3100y for 10 minuscules piece of meat fried and the worst beer we didnt want.
